Brer Rabbit Gingerbread
Cream together 3 tablespoons butter and ½ cup sugar. Add 1 beaten egg. Sift together 1 ½ cups flour1/8 teaspoon salt,
1 teaspoon each ginger,
cinnamon and
soda
Add to first mixture alternately with a mixture of ½ cup of milk and ½ cup Brer Rabbit Molasses. Pour in a buttered shallow pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350° F.) 30 to 45 minutes.Author Unknown
